Manage privacy settings in Microsoft Teams Free

Manage how people can find you

1. Tap your profile picture, then tap Settings .

2. Tap Privacy , then tap Manage how people can find you.

3. From here you can turn the toggle for your email, phone number, or profile name on or off.

Manage who can call you

The default is already set to My contacts. My contacts are people who sent you a chat request, and you accepted the request. 

1. Tap your profile picture, then tap Settings .

2. Tap Privacy .

3. Under Manage how people can call you, you can choose from:

   1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Everyone 

   2. My contacts

​​​​​​​Manage who you can add to a group

The default is already set to Everyone. My contacts are people who sent you a chat request, and you accepted the request.

Hide or Show details on your profile card

These settings will apply to your chats, group chats, and community. If you want to receive calendar invites, your email must be shown on your profile card.

1. Tap your profile picture, then tap Settings .

2. Tap Privacy .

3. Tap Your profile.

4. You can choose to Hide or Show your e-mail address and phone number.

Manage how people can find you

3. Under Manage how people can find you, select Manage contact information.

4. From here you can turn the toggle for your email, phone number, or profile name on or off.
